Overview:

The Syniti Lead (Tech Lead) / Data Lead plays a pivotal role in leading data management initiatives within the organization. As a critical member of the data team, this position is responsible for overseeing data architecture, data integration, and ensuring data quality across various systems. The Syniti Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that enable business intelligence and analytics. This role not only requires strong technical expertise in data management and cloud technologies but also demands excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills to influence a diverse group of stakeholders. By leveraging the Syniti platform and tools, the Data Lead aims to optimize data processes, enhance overall data governance, and drive strategic data initiatives that align with the company’s business objectives. The position is essential for ensuring the organization’s data assets are well-managed, secure, and effectively used to contribute to informed decision-making.

SKILL-

• 12 plus years of IT Development experience.
• Must have 4 plus years of development experience using Syniti tool. Hands on development experience for Data Profiling, Data Quality, SAP Entity / Object mapping and transformation is necessary.
• 2 plus years of experience in data profiling, data quality and data governance is necessary. Resource need to work with Business SME and Business users for DQ business rules and DQ enrichment.
• Must have good SAP ERP background. 2 plus years of SAP development experience using ABAP coding.
• Must have good understanding of entity mapping from legacy ERP to SAP S3/ S4 HANA
• Must have ability lead ETL development / Syniti development team.
• Experience of working in matrix organization and multi vendor collaboration
• Must have good experience in CICD/ DevOps process and knowledge of Agile development process
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data management projects and initiatives using the Syniti platform.
• Design and implement data architecture to support business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Develop strategies for data governance, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Manage ETL processes, ensuring efficient data flow between systems.
• Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Oversee data quality assessments and implement improvements as necessary.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior data team members to build a strong data practice.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in data management and governance.
• Implement and optimize cloud technologies for improved data storage and analytics.
• Create documentation and training materials for data management processes.
• Conduct data analysis to support strategic initiatives and uncover business opportunities.
• Manage project timelines, scopes, and budget allocations effectively.
• Act as a point of contact for data-related inquiries across the organization.
• Report on project status and data governance metrics to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data management, data architecture, or data analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of ETL tools and processes.
• Experience with Syniti or similar data management platforms.
• Demonstrated experience managing data governance frameworks.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and train team members in data practices.
• Experience in the creation of data-driven business cases.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and business requirements.
